Talvik is powered by Rural Grocery Solutions. Our Services help participating stores manage memberships and access, communicate with members,
and support store operations.
2) Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:

Account & contact information — name, email address, phone number, store affiliation, and related identifiers.

Membership & eligibility information — membership status, start/end dates, plan type, renewal history, and related records.

Identity verification information (where applicable) — for example, a photo of a government ID if your store requires it for membership or access eligibility.
(We recommend you do not submit sensitive info unless requested by the store.)

Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Clover). We may receive limited payment-related details
like transaction status, timestamps, and identifiers, but we do not store full card numbers.

Access & security information — if your membership includes after-hours access, we may process access-related data such as access credential type
(e.g., mobile pass or key fob), provisioning status, and access events provided by access control partners (such as Avigilon Alta/Openpath), depending on store configuration.

Messages and support requests — information you submit through forms, “Instant Access Help,” emails, or other support channels.

Device & usage information — app usage, device identifiers, IP address, log data, and diagnostic information for security and troubleshooting.

3) How we use information

- Provision and manage access credentials where enabled by a store (e.g., door access provisioning and status).

- Improve security, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance.

If you opt in to SMS, you agree to receive text messages related to membership, access, and store communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by following the instructions in the message
(for example, replying STOP).
6) Data retention
We retain personal information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes
(such as security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance). Stores may retain membership records per their operational needs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information.
However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
8) Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information.
